The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is an ideal qualification for workers in children’s services who have the responsibility of planning and managing programs around childhood services whilst observing the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. From January 2014, 50 per cent of educators working with children aged from birth to 13 years must have, or be actively working towards obtaining at least an approved diploma level education and care qualification.
Are you an existing worker? Have you experience working in children’s services within family day care, occasional day care centres, or even pre-school?
